Thank you for taking an interest in Our Lady Help of Christians school. We are a very proud school community, dedicated to excellent teaching and learning in the Catholic tradition.

Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) has a reputation for being a caring environment where children are nurtured. Our staff is committed to education and works very hard to ensure all our students are challenged and supported in their learning. We are fortunate in being able to provide a highly personalised education to our students, taking into account their own individual needs.

We are committed to the education and formation of the whole child. Because of this, we provide ample opportunities for students to develop their academic skills, to build knowledge, and to develop physically, creatively, and spiritually. Our structured learning environments, beautiful grounds and dedicated team of teachers and support staff allow for this holistic education.

OLHC is open to all the families of Murtoa and the surrounding regions. We are an inclusive school and celebrate the diversity of our student population. As a Catholic school, we pass on the teachings and traditions of the Church, and we invite all of our students and their families to participate in prayer and liturgy. We believe that Catholic education is a partnership between the school, the home, and the Church, and work together with the local parish and with our families to provide the best education we can. We are grateful for the ongoing support of our parents, including an active P&F.

Since its foundation in 1963, OLHC Murtoa has changed and grown. The extraordinary work of past principals and families means that current students and staff have incredible facilities and grounds to enjoy. It is such a special place to come each day. With further developments to the site beginning in 2024, including new and improved learning spaces, Our Lady Help of Christians School will continue to offer high-quality teaching and learning.

Visitors to the school are most welcome, as are all inquiries regarding enrolments.
